The grab doesn't affect already shivering Animals.For Lava Animals, they need to enter specifically a Hiding Hole at the Volcano for the shivering to end faster. The effect can end faster by entering a Hiding Hole or a Whirlpool of any size. It also gradually inflicts damage to them, and gives the appearance that they are violently shivering. The sting will cause the victim to shiver, which disables usage of Special Abilities and stops the victim from boosting. By pressing W, it will grab an animal with its pincers (which stuns them) and sting them with its barbed tail.
